  16. I have a very strange problem with one of my harddrives.

  18. As soon i try to delete several files on it (tested in shell and dopus
  19. and on wb) the computer either chrashes with a guru or just locks up.
  20.  
  21. I have tried changing SCSI id, change position on the cable and changed
  22. the termination and have also tried to lower the maxtransfer (a lot).
  23. Same problem. Now to the most strange thing: I thought it was a fault 
  24. in the drive as all my other SCSI harddrives (quantum) works flawlessly.

  26. So i sent back the Connor drive (guarantee left) and got a 1Gb connor
  27. back yesterday, completely new drive. But this one shows the same problem,
  28. i can't delete from it.
  29. Desperately i tried all above with this new one also. (termination, maxtrans etc..)

  31. I am starting to believe there is something wrong with my controller now.
  32. It's a Grandslam2000 in a A2000/040.

  34. For the record:
  35. (THE CONNOR 540 DRIVE WORKED BEFORE )
  36. (before i installed and deinstalled AFS due to AFS crashing my IDE HD)
  37. (i had a lot of problems with AFS, it was much slower etc..)
